By breaking down every verse in Scripture, Benjamin’s work not only offers commentary but also a devotional journey designed to bring readers into a deeper relationship with God.
Benjamin views the writing of this commentary as a lifelong academic pursuit. He continually fuels the project with ongoing specialization and synthesis, utilizing advanced training in Christian Apologetics and committing to further graduate studies in Biblical Exposition and Context. This dedication ensures that every reflection is rooted in meticulously current research and a fully reasoned, faithful presentation of the Christian worldview.
Benjamin acknowledges that no human effort can fully capture the infinite nature of God. As Christ Himself said, no number of words can truly explain God. Even if a lifetime were devoted to writing about each verse, it would only begin to scratch the surface. Yet, through this project, readers are invited to enter eternity here on Earth, as John 3 reminds us that we are born again and able to encounter God’s truth in this life. Length and intensity are secondary to fidelity. By the time this series is complete, it is projected to encompass 20 to 30 million words, yet every word is rooted in Scripture because, as 2 Timothy 3:16 affirms, “All Scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” Benjamin’s mission is to bring each verse to life in a way that equips the Church to live by God’s Word, for man does not live on bread alone.
Benjamin McGreevy has been a devoted, lifelong student of Scripture and is currently pursuing his graduate studies in Biblical Exposition and Christian Apologetics.
