“They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.”
This verse brings us back to the orderliness of God’s creation. Notice how “after his kind” is repeated. Nothing is random here; nothing is chaotic. Even in the midst of judgment, God is preserving the structure He set in place from the beginning. The animals did not come in by accident, nor by human ingenuity, but by the command and providence of God. Every beast, every creeping thing, every bird and each after its kind entered the ark.
This reminds us that God’s care is not just for humanity but for all of His creation. The same God who spoke the world into existence now ensures its survival through a remnant of every kind. Judgment wipes out, but mercy preserves.
